Chinese Medicine

Acupuncture is a well-know modality practiced within the scope of Chinese medicine. Cupping, gua sha, herbal medicine, tui na massage, qi gong, and dietary therapy are also important branches of traditional Chinese medicine. Longevity uses traditional wisdom to offer effective, evidence-informed treatment for modern patients and their concerns. Our practice is absolutely patient-centered.

Dr. Taylor is a compassionate, experienced acupuncturist and herbalist. She holds master and doctoral degrees in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego, CA. Dr. Taylor has also enjoyed advanced study in the specialties of Gynecology, Pediatrics, Geriatrics, and Oncology care. She is national board certified (NCCAOM). She has been licensed (L.Ac.) in New York, where she founded the original Longevity Acupuncture Clinic in 2003. Dr. Taylor currently resides in St Johns, Florida, and is licensed as an Acupuncture Physician (AP).

Jay “Scott” Taylor, LMT, is a licensed massage therapist. He maintains an individual Florida therapist license (MA12138) and a Florida massage establishment license (MM43753). Scott previously practiced in upstate New York after graduating from the prestigious, Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage in 2005. He additionally studied Asian bodywork techniques at the Charles River Institute in Cambridge, Massachusetts. His study of tui na- Chinese medical massage was under the guidance of Taoist priest and holistic health practitioner, Bill Helm, of San Diego, California. Scott is skilled at combining modalities of traditional Chinese medicine such as cupping, bian warm stone, and gua sha friction with massage techniques to provide individualized relief and therapeutic results.
